CORRUGATED POLYCARBONALT SHEET
Corrugated Polycarbonate sheets are produced in different thicknesses and wall designs from "3.5 mm 2 wall" to "32 mm 9 wall" structure. Calculations are made by taking into account the wind/snow load carrying capacities that vary according to the region where the application will be made.
You can achieve high light transmittance in your greenhouses and save energy by controlling heating/cooling with corrugated polycarbonate sheets, which have superior properties compared to greenhouse coating/protection covers that do not perform adequately in different/difficult climatic conditions. Double-sided UV Protection and IR protection layer, despite being light, high resistance to wind/snow load etc. With many features, you can install your greenhouse once with 10-year warranty and CE certified corrugated polycarbonate sheets, and you will earn for many years.
INFRA-RED PROTECTION
The heat is caused by the rays of the sun. These rays pass through the glass or plastic cover material and enter the greenhouse, and when they reach the soil and plants, they turn into heat energy. This warms the soil and plants. This warming causes diseases in plants, drying of the soil, deterioration of the moisture balance in the greenhouse and damage to the plants in the greenhouse due to excessive heat. Corrugated polycarbonate sheets, with their IR protection feature, eliminate the negative conditions that these rays will create in greenhouse agriculture and increase efficiency.
HIGH LIGHT TRANSMISSION
Corrugated polycarbonate sheets have high light transmission. Thanks to this feature, more growth is achieved in plants compared to other greenhouse coating materials, and greenhouse efficiency increases.
ANTİ-FOG
The condensed steam on the greenhouse roofs due to the ambient humidity creates water droplets on the greenhouse cover surface. These droplets cause the sunlight that the plant needs to be refracted and reflected back. Corrugated Polycarbonate sheets prevent the formation of droplets of condensed water vapor with their permanent antifog feature and ensure the spread of droplets in the form of a film layer on the greenhouse cover. The drops formed by the water vapor condensing on the greenhouse cover, which does not have anti-fog feature, cause various diseases and burns in the plant grown as a result of the sunlight creating a lens effect on the plant and the falling of its drops. In addition, a decrease in the intensity of sunlight required for the grown plant occurs. This causes yield loss. One of the most important features of corrugated polycarbonate sheets is the permanent anti-fog feature. It maintains its anti-fog feature for many years.
STRENGTH
Corrugated polycarbonate sheets have high impact resistance even at temperatures such as -30, +120 °C. Polycarbonate materials materials have 200 times more impact resistance than glass. Especially corrugated polycarbonate sheets of 8 mm and above are resistant to hail. Corrugated polycarbonate sheets, like other greenhouse covers, do not deform under the wind and maintain their structural rigidity. It preserves its integrity. Partial damages are not reflected in the whole plate.
LONG LASTING
Standard clear corrugated polycarbonate sheets are offered with a 10-year warranty. If desired, the warranty period can be extended to 15 years. During the warranty period, the amount of yellowing on the plates is very low and the change in light transmission is very limited. Considering the importance of PAR light intensity for plant growth and photosynthesis in greenhouses, the importance of corrugated polycarbonate sheets to maintain high light transmittance for many years comes to the fore even more.
