Mango is a fruit that grows on trees and mango trees can reach up to 40 meters in height. Rare species, on the other hand, begin to bear fruit when they are only 2 meters. During the blooming periods of the mango tree, a very pleasant fragrance emanates from the flowers.

Instead, it makes more sense to buy and grow as seedlings. If you buy and grow the mango, which has many varieties, as grafted seedlings, the fruiting period will be 3 years on average. It begins to bloom and bear fruit in the first 3-5 years.

It needs a lot of both water and sunlight. For the plant to grow efficiently, it needs to be exposed to sunlight for at least 8-10 hours a day. In the first year after planting, watering should be given great importance and should never be left without water.

For better growth of the tree, potassium and phosphorus fertilizers should be given to the soil. It is sufficient to prune the dead leaves and branches of the tree, which does not require constant pruning.
